About Nittanyville Area School District

  • We are proud of our State College community. Our town is located in beautiful central Pennsylvania and provides many recreational and cultural opportunities. Vacationers and outdoor enthusiasts are attracted to our dozens of lakes, streams and mountains.

Community Highlights

    • The town is dominated economically and demographically by the presence of the University Park campus of the Pennsylvania State University.
    • Mount Nittany (2,077 ft.) is actually part of a complex of ridges that separates Nittany Valley from Penns Valley, with the enclosed Sugar Valley between them.
