  • So...how can you help your child plan for college?

    1. There are lots of free resources on www.collegeboard.org and other websites like www.educationplanner.org Check them out!
    2. Get to know your assigned School Counselor!
    3. Check your NASD email and the Counseling Bulletin for highlights and upcoming events like Financial Aid Night, PHEAA webinars, etc.
    4. If you haven't already, start a savings plan like 529 TAP.


    View the College Visit List to see which college representatives are visiting JVSS on certain dates, so you can come meet them and learn about their campuses, majors, & activities.


    The Looking Ahead brochure lists the 2014-2015 school year's SAT and ACT tests dates, dates for financial aid nights, SAT/PSAT night, college fair etc. Please click on the publications tab to view.
