Program Overview

  • Intended primarily for district residents, classroom training is for participants who are 15 years old at the end of the session. After finishing the classroom session, students will receive a “blue card”. The student will provide the blue card when applying for an instruction permit.

Cost for replacement of lost or damaged blue cards is $10. Once the permit has been obtained, both the student and parent/guardian will need to visit the Community Services office in person to register for Behind-the-Wheel.

Class registration forms are available at the JP Vincent Secondary School main office, the Community Services office, or on this page—when registration is open.

  • NEW! CONES NOW AVAILABLE
Cones are available for your family to use when practicing driving skills. Visit our office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. –  4:30 p.m. to check out cones for two days at no charge.
