Intended primarily for district residents, classroom training is for participants who are 15 years old at the end of the session. After finishing the classroom session, students will receive a “blue card”. The student will provide the blue card when applying for an instruction permit.
Cost for replacement of lost or damaged blue cards is $10. Once the permit has been obtained, both the student and parent/guardian will need to visit the Community Services office in person to register for Behind-the-Wheel.
Class registration forms are available at the JP Vincent Secondary School main office, the Community Services office, or on this page—when registration is open.

Driving Log
Effective January 1, 2015, every driver under the age of 18 who completes behind the wheel instruction and is testing for a provisional driver’s license must submit a driving log. Parents/guardians have two options regarding the supervised driving log (see below). The driving log must be presented at the time of the road test and submitted with the application for the provisional license.
